About this exhibit

Music, measure & the laurel

Reference and coverage

An original modern interpretation of a mythological tradition, not an archaeological find, ancient statue replica or definitive likeness. Display regions may cut across a continuous figure; detached attributes are separate modeled objects. Colors, costume details and proportions are artistic choices.

A curved resonator and two arms hold a crossbar above the strings.

The lyre connects Apollo with music. This seven-string display is an original instrument interpretation; it is not a playable acoustic reconstruction.

Original Logan Pendragon Forge geometry. Mythological symbolism is documented separately from modern ornament; this is not an archaeological replica.
